1. When will the newly transplanted hair start to grow?
The transplanted hair starts growing immediately but will almost always
2. Can I wear my hair short?
The patient can wear his/her hair at any length. There may be some scabs initially, but by one week there is no evidence of the procedure.
3. Do the clients need to use a bandage after the surgery? If yes for how long?
No bandages are necessary. Typically, people like to wear a baseball cap or a scarf for the first week.
4. When can the clients wash the hair?
We recommend washing their hair two days after the procedure.
5. When can clients resume physical training?
We like to have people limit their physical activity for the first 7-10 days. During that time, walking is a good way to maintain their exercise regimen.
6. When can clients go in the sun?
We would rather not have sun exposure for the first month. If the patient does go out in the sun, they should wear a hat or a sunblock with an SPF greater than 15. Ideally, after the hair is fully grown, only sunblock is needed on the face.
